The Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) provides an ideal transitional bridge from high school to higher education, employability and better quality of life for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students with Autism Spectrum, Asperger’s syndrome, PDD, NLD, ADHD and similar social or learning differences.
Academy students are non-traditional learners and thinkers who have a broad range of relative academic and personal strengths. ALL students will have a diploma-tracked academic program with practical life preparation instruction and guidance to improve social thinking and overall Executive Functioning (EF).
EMPLOYABILITY, COGNITIVE & SOFT SKILL COURSES ACT’s National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC): assessment-based credential documenting foundational workplace skills critical for employability: Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information.
Career Ready 101: Helps develop and improve work readiness skills needed for success in a changing workplace. Practical skills are developed in career awareness, job search and financial awareness.
Soft Skills Suite: Personal and behavioral skills such as work habits, business etiquette, communication skills needed to keep a job and grow a future.
